The Calcidic peninsula, also known as Calcidica or – as the Greeks call it – Halkidiki, is located in the region of Central Macedonia, in the northeast of Greece. To say it: it is located to the border with Bulgaria, although it is not in its immediate vicinity.

The Calcidica overlooks the sea on 3 peninsulas also known as ‘fingers’ or ‘legs’: the first is Kassandra, the second is Sithonia, the third is Mount Athos.

To get to Calcidica, the best option is to fly to Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki) and then go on a charter or by bus.
